The Creative Quarter – Nottingham

21st March 2016

Throughout the days of the British Empire, Nottingham was a world trailblazer in lace production. Although it was never a market in the traditional sense, the area is full of salesrooms and warehouses for storing, displaying and selling the lace.

At present, the district has been re-titled The Creative Quarter and is now one of the most industrious parts of the city. Previous warehouse buildings have been transformed into, apartments, restaurants, bars and shops.

The areas new direction also endorses creativity and innovation, thus you will find several of independent boutique cafes and stores here, along with unconventional technology firms and music festivals such as the Hockley Hustle.

Around The Creative Quarter you will also find a number of attractions and leisure spots, including the Galleries of Justice, Nottingham Contemporary, Capital FM Arena Nottingham and our new residential apartment scheme Maid Marian House.

Maid Marian House will be one of five new developments due for completion in September, highlighting the company’s rising status in the property segment.
